Coalition members can request funding for professional development opportunities that strengthen their ability to contribute to the Coalition and advance Grow Lane County goals.
This support is intended to build knowledge, skills, relationships, and leadership capacity within our community while encouraging participants to share learning and resources across the Coalition.
Eligible activities may include conferences, trainings, workshops, site visits or other learning opportunities related to food systems, health, agriculture, and/or leadership.

A Volunteer Stipend is available to Grow Lane County Steering Committee members, Working Group Leads or Working Group members of 18 years of age or older who offer to volunteer with no expected payment or gifts in kind for services provided for at least 6 months.

GLC Working Groups and the Steering Committee can request funding for coalition-identified projects.

Food Security Coalition Overview
The development of a Food Security Coalition is one aspect of the Grow Lane County project with the purpose of bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to improve regional food security. The Coalition aims to fill community-identified gaps in order to provide solutions, recommendations and opportunities to improve regional food security.
